  REGULAR MEMBER (Any person who meets one or more of the following requirements shall be eligible to apply as a regular member: $50 **

a.)     Any person who is an official court or legislative reporter.

b.)     Any person who is associated with or employed by a Professional member of this association as a court reporter
whose application is endorsed by the associated or employing reporter.

c.)     Any person who is a Participating or Registered member of NCRA      

ASSOCIATE MEMBER ** ($25/year) (A teacher of shorthand or shorthand reporting, or anyone connected in an official capacity with a school or college conducting a shorthand reporting course, a legal videographer, a scopist, or an NCRA certified managing reporter, may become as associate member.  Such persons need not meet the requirements for skill in the art of verbatim reporting of proceedings by use of shorthand symbols or voice writing.)

**  All Regular and Associate membership applicants who have met the requirements for membership shall also be required  to be endorsed in writing,

RETIRED MEMBER (No dues) (Any member of the Association in good standing, upon retiring from the active practice of shorthand reporting, may become, subject to the approval of the Executive Board, a retired member)

STUDENT MEMBER:  ($5/year) Any student enrolled in a business school or college conducting a shorthand reporting course is eligible for student membership.
